I would like to thank Trail Blaze Hunting for an awesome hunt. When we were told about the hunt originally I was a little skeptical since most of the time you get a glorified version of what to expect. Not so on this trip. It was exactly as we were told only better. I had a wonderful time on the hunt and saw 15-20 bucks every day. We will definitely be booking with Trail Blaze Hunting in the future. Ben, I just wanted to thank you once again for all your efforts to locate a great spot to take my customers to CO to hunt mule deer last fall. I appreciate the fact that you "tell it how it is" and don't sugarcoat the opportunities that you have available. The hunt was exactly like you had said it would be...thick country with lots of deer and some really great bucks if you can hold out. I killed my buck on the last day of the hunt after all of my customers had tagged out on good deer so everyone was happy! I can honestly say that two of the best trips I've had out west in the last 15 years have been the two that I have booked through your services and both were at a reasonable price for those of us on a working man's budget. Anytime my buddy's are looking for a great hunt or landowner tag in the west I send them your way because i know you will take good care of them and get them the best hunt that their money can buy!!! Ben, thank you for finding a great mule deer hunt for us. It was just as you described and more. TrailBlaze was easy to work with and very professional. The outfitter and ranch was aptly described. The good news was the quality of the guides. They knew the terrain and habitats and patterns of all the species we observed. I bagged my deer the first evening. It scored exactly as you told me they would. Kind of a cactus 9X9. It was totally what I was hunting for this year. As you know we have already booked with TrailBlaze again this year, so the testimony is right there. The biggest and only surprise on the hunt was the shiras moose who tried to jump in the Polaris with us one morning. Thanks again to both you and the outfitter and guides. Dear Ben, I wanted to take a moment and tell you how much I appreciate you booking my 1st guided elk hunt in Colorado. With all the outfitter choices out there calling you and respecting your knowledge and recommendation was one of the most intelligent things I have done in a while. You were honest with me and a straight shooter. I feel you were truly doing your best in listening to my particular requests, budgetary constraints and my ideal dream hunt. As far as the Outfitter, I can’t say enough about the owners and staff. I was treated very well and appreciate the efforts from everybody. These folks are a very tight group of professionals that truly understand the elk herds in there hunting areas. He has developed a “system” that works very well without pushing the elk out of his game rich hunting areas. I’m glad I listened and trusted my guides rather than trying to do my own thing. I trusted the “system” and as you can see below I was handsomely rewarded with my 1st archery elk.
